Business Development Team Lead


Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance or Business or Sales & Marketing field;
  • 3+ year experience in a Sales, Partnership and/or Business Development position in a financial services company is necessary;
  • A strong understanding of market and competitor trends with a good understanding of the legal and regulatory framework;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels within the company and externally with different profiles of Clients (retail and institutional);
  • Leadership Skills and holistic Business Development vision;
  • Proven track record of proactive Sales and Business Development competency;
  • High level of integrity and dependability;
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-moving global and multi-language environment;
  • Excellent team player, able to interact effectively with various functions within the company with the ability to build consensus.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in formulating the company's business development strategy;
  • Achieve business goals in all target markets - Europe, Asia, Middle-East and South America;
  • Activate and retain Retail and Institutional Clients;
  • Take overall responsibility in delivering satisfactory customer experience for Clients from all aspects of the Sales and Business Development function;
  • Ensure that all Leads are contacted and best efforts are made to convert these Leads into Active Clients;
  • Lead, supervise and train all Sales & Business Development personnel;
  • Be the high-level go-to person for Country Managers, Customer Support and Sales with regards to inquiries about products;
  • Maintain good communication lines with teams to ensure streamlined information flow to/from Clients and Business Development/Sales teams;
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the team to constantly meet the needs of the Clients;
  • Establish monthly and annual goals and KPI systems to monitor performance and deliver success;
  • Assess and evaluate ongoing and future load to ensure sufficient human and monetary resources are available to deliver Business Development Strategy;
  • Be critical in terms of Business Development costs and focus on optimization and efficiencies;
  • Analyze marketing and industry trends and track activities of competitors in order to provide valuable inputs for fine-tuning operational & marketing strategies;
  • Represent the company in key exhibitions and trade fairs.
